Cognitive therapies will be used to replace negative, self-defeating and maladaptive thoughts and beliefs with positive, realistic and adaptive ones, thus generating positive emotions and an optimistic outlook towards life.
Behavior modification therapy will be used to change, modify or eliminate an undesirable behavior or habit from the person’s repertoire of behaviors through the application of behavior change principles that will encourage and motivate the person towards making the desired changes.
