The most vital of all resources against stress is social support. Social ties and relationships with others have been found to be emotionally satisfying aspects of life as they have been found to help individuals to cope with stressful events and reduce the likelihood that stress will lead to poor health.
Support Groups are groups of people with the same problem or mental condition who come together to share information, experiences and give each other emotional support for enhancing their problem-solving and decision-making skills. For example, support groups can be formed for people with anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, addictions etc.
